There are still very few representations of intersex people in any media, largely because the subject is rarely broached openly.  Oliver Houser's musical XY was developed with the support of interACT, an organisation that advocates for the human rights of children that are born with intersex traits.  XY is being developed with Hunter Bird and is looking towards a full run in the US in the future.
