MTPride panel on LGBTQ+ representation in musical theatre: Monday 29th June

I am thrilled to be part of a panel that is discussing the future of queer representation in musical theatre on Monday 29th June from 5pm-6.30pm as part of the MTPride festival. I am particularly delighted to be appearing with the legendary Sharon D. Clarke MBE (Caroline, Or Change and Hairspray) and Susie McKenna, who has worked as artistic director of the Hackney Empire and associate director of The Bush Theatre; Rikki Beadle-Blair MBE who wrote the screenplay and stage adaptation of Stonewall; Harrison Knights, the co-founder and producer of the Trans Voices Company in London, and Gus Gowland, who wrote Pieces of String for the Mercury Theatre in Colchester.

It would be amazing to have your support for this panel. It takes place at Monday 29th June from 5pm-6.30pm on the Mercury Musical Developments YouTube channel. You can sign up here to have the link e-mailed to you. Huge thanks to Matt Powell from MP Productions, Meg McGrady from Queerly Productions, and Mercury Musical Developments and Musical Theatre Network for co-hosting this panel.
