I'm very happy to be launching the new website this week. At the moment it is quite basic - it lists musicals with LGBTQ characters that have been produced or revived over the past fifteen years and links to Youtube trailers and Spotify cast recordings (or other sources for those shows still in development). It also includes pages that list musicals with queer female, bisexual, trans and gender non-binary characters as well as those that intersect with Black and Asian characters. There are more pages coming for intersex characters, D/deaf characters and characters with disabilities. Eventually there will also be pages for individual musicals and information about the 70+ industry practitioners that have taken part in the research for the book.
